The transportation system in Japan is extremely efficient. The closest major city to Niseko is Sapporo and the main airport is New Chitose International Airport. Chitose Airport offers daily flights to and from all major Asian hubs including mainland China, Hong Kong, Russia, Korea and Taiwan as well as excellent transfer options to Niseko by train, bus or private transfer.

Domestic flights from Tokyo to the New Chitose Airport (Sapporo) can be purchased with ease and at a reasonable price with over 40 flights per day.
