DESCRIPTION

GROUP LESSON PROGRAMS GONDOLA SNOWSPORTS (GO SNOW)

Gondola Snowsports (GoSnow) is the official international snow sports school of Grand Hirafu Resort. Based at both the Ace Family Pair Lift and Niseko-Hirafu Gondola, GoSnow has exclusive access to the Magic Carpets in Grand Hirafu. GoSnow is also the only Ski School in Niseko-Hirafu with priority lift queuing. Group lessons are available for full days or half days for adults and children.

Ninja Kids

Ninja Kids new to the sport will benefit from their own dedicated Learning Zone and magic carpet, while experienced skiers will have the easiest access Grand Hirafu’s beginner bowl or Family run and high speed Gondola.

  • Specifically for young skiers aged 3-6 years
  • Maximum 8 per class
  • Registration for classes is at 9:00am
  • Lessons start from one of two GoSnow meeting areas at the Gondola base or Family base
  • Private magic carpets at both the Gondola base and Family base
  • Breaks are provided throughout the day at the Ninja Kids Club
  • Full day lessons include lunch

Yama Riders

Yama Riders translates to ‘mountain riders’ and this program is all about keeping kids safe while they have fun learning new skills and exploring the entire Niseko United resort.

  • Full and half day ski and snowboard kids programs for 7–10 year olds and Teen Programs for 11-14 age group.
  • Maximum 8 per class.
  • Registration is at 9am
  • Lessons start from one of two GoSnow meeting areas at the Gondola base or Family base
  • Full day lessons include lunch
  • Intermediate to Advanced require an All Mountain lift pass

Adult First Timer Pack

Adult group session for first timers to the snow. Includes all rental gear including outerwear, helmet, goggles, gloves and equipment, Grand Hirafu lift ticket and a full day of adult group lessons.

  • Lessons are available for first timers only
  • Multi-day lessons are consecutive days only
  • Adult Group lessons will begin from the Gondola base ONLY
  • The Adult First Timer Pack must be booked at least 3 days in advance

Adult Group Lessons

GoSnow team is here to show you all that Niseko United has on offer, be that the gentle beginner slopes of the Gondola area or the deep powder of Niseko Annupuri. A day with our team will have you smiling and noticing real improvement.

  • Maximum 6 per class.
  • Levels 1-5 Ski and Board. Full day will break for lunch at 12:30pm.
  • Registration is at 9:45am
  • Lessons start at the GoSnow meeting area at the Gondola base.
  • Intermediate to Advanced require an All Mountain lift pass
  • Adult Ability Chart

Powder Workshops

Intro to Powder
Learn the basic skills needed to ride off piste in deep powder, tackle steep runs, trees, and be guided to the best powder runs on the mountain. Suitable for strong intermediate riders to advanced riders with no powder experience.

Advanced Powder Skills
For experienced powder hunters, learn the advanced techniques which will take your powder experience to the next level. Groups can ride the best powder runs from any of the Niseko United resorts, including guided access to the Niseko gate system. Suitable for advanced and expert level riders only who have previous experience in powder.

  • Workshops can be booked individually, however there is a minimum of two people per level required for a workshop to run. If unable to run the workshop on your booked day GoSnow will offer you an alternative lesson in an adult group classes.
  • Workshops will meet at the Private Lesson meeting area at the Gondola base.
  • Workshops will run from December 10 – April 10; some blackout dates apply.
  • An All Mountain lift pass is required for all Workshops.

Women’s Workshops

Enjoy a day out on the Niseko slopes with an elite female coach. The workshop includes lunch at the acclaimed An Dining and is perfect for women looking to improve their riding technique and explore the mountain at their own pace.

  • Maximum of three people per class
  • Workshops can be booked individually, however there is a minimum of two people per level required for a workshop to run. If unable to run the workshop on your booked day GoSnow will offer you an alternative lesson in an adult group classes.
  • Workshops meet at private lesson meeting area at the Gondola base
  • Workshops will run from December 10 – April 10; some blackout dates apply.
  • An All Mountain lift pass is required for all Workshops.

Terms & Conditions:

  • Bookings can only be accepted more than 72 hours in advance. However, availability is limited so Guests are encouraged to book at least 1 month in advance.
  • Bookings can only be accepted from Nisade’s Guests.
  • Bookings are not confirmed until you receive confirmation from Nisade via email.
  • Payment for any Guest Service is due at the time booking.
  • Requests for changes or cancellation s should be send via email to guestservices@nisade.com
  • Group lessons are non transferable, and where a multi-day lesson is bought it is for one discipline and one person only. Except in the case of illness or injury.
  • Group Session participants must arrive for registration 15 minutes prior to the lesson start time.
  • No refund or reschedule of lessons can be given for any guests who arrive after the lesson has commenced
  • First Timer to novice levels will require a Grand Hirafu/Hanazono lift ticket, while intermediate to advanced levels will require a Niseko United lift ticket. Please note your lesson may stay in the Hirafu/Hanazono area and GoSnow is not liable for any refunds in ticket prices should this occur.
  • GoSnow recommend that families book a Gondola Base location for any kids group lessons if they are partaking in an adult group lesson.
  • Full day adult group lessons will take a 1 hour lunch break, usually between 12:30-1:30pm. Lunch is not provided.
  • First Timer Pack participants must arrive to collect their lift ticket and rental vouchers no later than 8:30 am on the day of their first lesson.
  • Registration for kids group lessons is by 9:00am, all parents must sign a children’s registration form prior to the first lesson. The registration forms part of our terms and conditions.
  • Children are required to have full day lift tickets. No points passes can be accepted.
  • Lunch is provided for full day group lessons only. Food can be ordered for children with food intolerances if ordered 48 hours in advance. Please note we can not provide food for children with severe allergies.
  • Lessons are fixed to the start location booked at the time of reservation, changes to the location will be subject to availability at that location.
