About Niseko

Set amidst the spectacular beauty of Hokkaido, Niseko is a mountain destination that has won a top spot in the heart of ski fanatics and nature lovers around the world. The townships of Annupuri, Niseko, Hirafu and Hanazono are often referred to collectively as Niseko. Each town’s ski resort offers unique access to the legendary slopes of Mt Annupuri in a combination known as Niseko United. Exploring four world-class resorts on a single lift ticket is just one of the features that makes Niseko irresistible to skiers and boarders. Tales of consistent, fluffy, snow are validated year after year, giving Niseko the deserved reputation of a ski destination that always delivers.

Skiing and snowboarding are just the beginning. Guests can snowshoe, snowmobile and snowbike through the magical Japow, or kite surf, sleigh ride and zipline across its frosty glory. With the addition of easily accessible backcountry terrain, an inimitable village vibe and a dining scene that will enchant any foodie, it’s hard to match Niseko for all-round allure.
While the region is known for its winter wonders, Niseko’s summer splendour won’t be a secret for long. Nestled among rolling acres of verdant farmland, intriguing hiking trails and crystal clear lakes, Niseko is a nature lover’s heaven during the summer months.
From mountain biking to berry picking, hot air ballooning to golfing, the Niseko summer visitor will spend joyful days under bright blue skies and likely end their night at a lively local festival.

Overseeing it all is majestic Mount Yotei, who never fails to snatch your breath with her timeless beauty.
